One of the love letters that Lord Nelson wrote to Lady Hamilton can be found in the reception area at the Victory Hotel. We are happy that so many of our guests write to us and we would like to share some of the letters and reviews here.
Score: 5/5 "My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The hotel has such a unique appeal and the decor is fantastic. The staff were so friendly and nice and were always very helpful and happy to chat. Our room was quiet and very comfortable and it had air con which was great as the temperature whilst we were there was 23oC. The was also a fridge and and safe in the room. Tea & Coffee were available all day in the corridor. Port & chocolates were left in our room everyday which was lovely. The hotel is located in Gamla Stan and is in a perfect location to explore the old town and it's only a 10 minute walk to the new town and Palace. The breakfast was really nice with a good selection of cereals, meat, cheese and also scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon & meatballs. I would recommend The Victory Hotel to anyone who wants a clean and friendly hotel.

Score: 5/5 "We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is good, the staff are friendly and efficient, everything works well, and the nautical theme is fun. Being in Gamla Stan was great : a great to just walk around, a lot of nice restaurants close by, the Nobel Palace and the Royal Palace within a 5 minutes walk, and could also walk to a number of other tourist attractions. Strongly recommended. "

Score: 5/5 "By far the best accommodations we had in our 3 week European vacation. This was our first stop after a 13 hour travel day and we were greeted by the nicest front desk guy I have probably ever encountered (Peter I think was his name). Very refreshing when you are jet lagged and in a new foreign country for the first time. The rooms were very spacious by European standards, beds were very comfortable, and you can't possibly beat the location which is in the heart of Gamla Stan (old town of Stockholm). To top it off, some of the best restaurants/bars in the area are right in this hotel. This place definitely checked all of our boxes when it came to hotel accommodations! "
